Launching & Commercializing New Products in Multiple Cultures
GOALS/FOCUS
- Reviews and applies the key learning of our intercultural communications and business management seminars to the critical and complex task of incubating, commercializing and launching new products and services across cultures.
- Analyzes culturally related issues and risks in the Commercialization and launch process and provides related Do’s and Don’ts.
- Addresses the following areas of product commercialization:
- Importance of obtaining early and actual commitment and input from local/key country management
- Adapting core team behavior and attitudes to cultural differences
- Adapting regular core team communications for non-native English speaking team members
- Being alert to avoid common problems, such as “quiet non-alignment” with WW and other global team members, maintaining confidentiality, understanding necessary local quality standards, price sensitivity, local profitability, and factoring in local marketing & sales skills.
- Reviews the fundamental steps in developing a marketing and advertising campaign for the initial launch as well as planning/preparing the sales force for success.
